Job Overview:
As the Sales Manager at Epic Toyota, you will be a key leader responsible for driving vehicle sales, achieving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You will lead and motivate a team of sales consultants, develop and implement effective sales strategies, and maintain a strong understanding of the local market and customer needs. Your strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and proven sales acumen will be critical to the success of the sales department and the overall growth of Epic Toyota
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Sales Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to maximize vehicle sales volume and profitability.
Sales Target Achievement: Set individual and team sales targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.
Customer Relationship Management: Foster a customer-centric sales environment that prioritizes exceptional customer service and builds long-term relationships.
Sales Process Management: Oversee and refine the sales process to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a positive customer experience.
Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory manager to ensure optimal vehicle stock levels and mix to meet customer demand.
Pricing and Negotiation: Develop pricing strategies, manage negotiations with customers, and ensure profitable sales transactions.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to the General Manager, outlining performance against targets and key metrics.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, as well as dealership policies and procedures.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work effectively with the service, finance, and marketing departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and team performance, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry, preferably with a reputable brand.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive sales process and best practices.
- Understanding of the local automotive market in Chennai.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A customer-focused and results-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in Tamil and English is essential; knowledge of other local languages is a plus
