Job Overview:
The Marketing Executive aligns and implements local marketing activities with national marketing activities.Furthermore, he plans, co-ordinates and executes all marketing activities for all the company’s products and services. He/She supports the Sales management to achieve an optimal utilisation of the market, a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing planning:
- Alignment and execution of national marketing campaigns at dealership level.
- Execution of local marketing activities (ATL & BTL) in order to meet the targeted number of enquiries as finalised by the dealership management.
- Supporting the supervisor with the creation of quarterly/monthly communication and media plan under consideration of the dealership’s marketing activities
- Marketing communications Advertising and direct marketing:
- Supporting the supervisor in agency coordination for retail ad releases on a monthly basis.
- Development for direct mailers and other direct marketing tools. Implementation of direct
marketing activities as per the plan. - Maintaining contact with the advertising departments of the local media and processing press leads
- Analysing and maintaining customer databases with respect to quality and whether it is being kept up-to-date, as well as classification characteristics for making selections by target groups.
- Implementing centrally/nationally organized marketing and customer relations management
measures. - Updating the managerial staff and employees of all dealership’s direct marketing activities
- Sales promotions and events:
- Using the sales promotion material provided as well as the development and implementation of in house sales promotion measures in consultation with the supervisor
- Ensuring that all sales promotion materials used are maintained and updated.
- Adapting, planning, preparing and organizing events and conducting negotiations with appropriate service providers within the framework of the stipulations set by the supervisor. Supervising external service providers during events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the automobile industry or FMCG/retail.
- Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of local markets and customer behaviour.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work weekends or extended hours during events
