Job Overview:
The Service Advisor for 2-Wheelers acts as the liaison between customers and the service department. They are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, accurate vehicle diagnosis intake, job estimation, and timely delivery. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, technical understanding of 2-wheeler maintenance and repair, and the ability to coordinate efficiently between technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a courteous and professional manner.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and service needs.
- Provide cost estimates, explain recommended services, and obtain customer approval.
- Open job cards and assign work to technicians based on workload and specialization.
- Monitor the repair progress and keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle.
- Conduct a final quality check and ensure the service has been completed to standard.
- Handle billing, payments, and post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote additional services, offers, and maintenance packages.
- Maintain customer records and ensure all service data is updated in the system.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate complex issues to the Service Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum HSC / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the 2-wheeler segment.
- Good technical knowledge of 2-wheeler vehicles (scooters, motorcycles, etc.).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and service management software (DMS).
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- A valid 2-wheeler driving license is preferred.
