Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electric Two-Wheeler Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric scooters and motorcycles. The technician should have a good understanding of electric vehicle components including batteries, controllers, motors, and wiring systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular servicing, maintenance, and repairs of electric two-wheelers.
- Diagnose issues in battery packs, motors, controllers, BMS (Battery Management System), and charging systems.
- Handle fault detection using diagnostic tools and software (where applicable).
- Replace or repair faulty electrical components and perform wiring repairs or installations.
- Conduct test rides to ensure proper functioning after repairs or servicing.
- Update service records and job cards accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the service area.
- Provide feedback to the service manager on recurring technical issues or parts replacement trends.
- Guide customers (if required) on basic maintenance and usage of EVs.
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.
- 1 years of experience in servicing electric or conventional two-wheelers.
- Familiarity with EV components: lithium-ion batteries, hub motors, controllers, DC-DC converters, etc.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing tools like multimeters, clamp meters, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals.
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
